Llynnon MillWhere better to appreciate the hospitality of the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, than in comfortable accommodation on one of the island's working farms? Fifteen Anglesey farming families have grouped together to offer 'Anglesey Farm Accommodation', a hallmark of the best bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation available on this beautiful island. Individually each family has long experience of providing visitors with the very best service, and together the choice offered by this committed group is unbeatable.

Telford's Menai Suspension BridgeYou will approach Anglesey over either one of the two bridges - both great feats of engineering - they cross the Menai Strait, a perilous fourteen mile long tidal race that in place narrows so much so that in the days before the Telford Suspension Bridge was built, drovers used these narrows to herd Anglesey's fatted cattle on their way to market.

As you come across the bridge you are welcomed to Anglesey - "Môn Mam Cymru" - to the Mother of Wales and we hope you will be enchanted by the warm embrace, with safe and clean beaches, wonderful scenery, good sports facilities and good food, much of it made with local produce. Anglesey has a rich and interesting history, and through the seasons there are many attractions and events to capture your imagination.

Anglesey has120 miles of coast line, sandy beaches, rocky headlands that can be explored or used as a base for other sea related activities, there is sailing, sea fishing, wind surfing or a trip across to Ireland on the HSS. There are several golf courses, rambling, walking and there are also four sports complexes, three of which have indoor heated pools. There are many fresh water lakes where angling is available, and also several horse riding stables that offer tuition or trekking. Anglesey has other attractions such as the award winning Sea Zoo at BRYNSIENCYN, an Art Gallery in LLANGEFNI, a village with a very famous long name and the well known town of BEAUMARIS with its12th Century Castle and Gaol. The village of LLANDDEUSANT has a working windmill with a cafe where you can enjoy Welsh cream teas and browse at your leisure around the Anglesey Craft Workers Guild shop. If you enjoy bird watching then Anglesey is a haven for bird watchers - there are several sites to interest you. The Anglesey Circuit/Trac Môn is currently undergoing a massive expansion of facilities which will include top class Formula 3 racing.

Not too far away is the Snowdonia National Park, where you may climb, ramble or just take in the panoramic and breath taking views.

Penmon PrioryAnglesey is an island that can be visited at any time of year. Whatever the season, something of interest will be happening on the farm.
