Plas Cichle is a period farmhouse set in 200 acres of farm land, 1½ miles from the historic town of Beaumaris, and it offers magnificent views of Snowdonia. Accommodation is offered in big comfortable rooms with all facilities. We are also adjacent to an 18 hole golf course.

There is plenty of choice at breakfast time, and you may start your day with in our elegant dining room with a full traditional breakfast - choice of cereals, fruit juice and yoghurt and a full Welsh breakfast, followed by toast and our delicious home made marmalade.
Special diets are catered for.

After dinner why not take your ease in our comfortable guests lounge. With an open fire and and baby grand piano, you will soon relax and enjoy the company of fellow guests. Plas Cichle is fully centrally heated and it does have a lovely quiet feel to it. Most rooms are en-suite, and there is a welcome table, colour TV, clock-radio and hair dryer in every room.

This is a working farm, rearing sheep and cattle. Visitors are welcome to walk around the farm to see the livestock and take in the countryside. Seasonal activities include feeding lambs in spring time.

There are picturesque places to visit nearby, e.g., Penmon Point which overlooks Puffin Island, with its birds, namely cormorants and gannets, terns and gulls, is a birdwatchers paradise. Beaumaris - once the administrative and legal centre of Anglesey - offers a wide range of places to visit with its 13th Century Castle its greatest attraction. You can also visit the Victorian Court and Gaol or simply enjoy the spectacular views across the Strait or even take a boat trip. Browse through the many shops and galleries or enjoy a meal in one of the many exceptional eating places in the town. Why not explore the remains of the 6th Century priory and Seiriol's well, and the unusual dovecote is a must.

You may want to visit Pili Palas to see the butterflies, or the Sea Zoo, or how about a visit to the stately home of the Marquis of Anglesey, Plas Newydd. You can sail, fish, golf and horse ride all within easy reach of the farm. Plas Cichle is ideally situated for visiting Anglesey's main attractions and still only half an hour away from the middle of Snowdonia, and definitely not forgetting,
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Directions : Nearest railway station is at Bangor.
By Road. When you get on to the island follow the A545 to Beaumaris, through the town, past the castle on the left. Along the B5109 towards Llangoed to the first cross roads, up the road to the T junction. Turn right and the farm entrance is on the left at the bottom of the hill. Signposted B+B at the crossroads.

Plas Cichle has won both Farm House and Welcome Host Gold Awards. Many of our guest return year after year, come along and find out why!
