Hen Bont, meaning Old Bridge, is a charming 18th Century Traditional Farm House and 100 acre working sheep farm set in the heart of Anglesey’s Countryside. The warmest of welcomes awaits you at our home.
We have two beautifully furnished double rooms, one en-suite, the other with its own private bath / shower room. Guests also have their own dining / sitting room with TV etc.
Start your day off with our hearty full Welsh breakfast, followed by a gentle stroll down to the River Alaw, where we have fishing rights which you are welcome to make use of (subject to local license). Venture just a little further from the farm and you will find some interesting sites, including Howell’s Water Mill (know locally as Felin Selar), the beautiful 4th Century Llanddeusant Church, Bedd Branwen – the Bronze Age remains of Queen Branwen’s Burial Chamber, or Llynnon Mill – the only working mill on Anglesey with craft/gift shop and superb tearoom; all within 2 miles of Hen Bont.
We are ideally located to explore the Island’s many treasures, whether you are looking for a quiet place to lunch, beautiful beaches, exhilarating walks to admire the wildlife and natural beauty of our island, historic sites or an action packed activity day, we can advise and point you in the right direction.

Finish your day off by dining at one of Anglesey’s many restaurants, or stay in and relax with a bottle of wine in front of the fire and a delicious home cooked evening meal from our farm house favorites menu, including our own lamb. Recipe cards are available to take away with you.
We are a 20 minute drive from Holyhead Ferry Port and happy to accommodate early breakfasts for travelers.
We look forward to welcoming you here for a friendly and homely farm stay.
