introduction
Nestling in a quiet corner of Anglesey there lies a beautiful traditional Welsh cottage.
A cottage you would like to call home.
Tyddyn Truan offers all the modern amenities expected of first class holiday accommodation. The sensitive restoration of the cottage ensures that the warm atmosphere and unique features of the cottage are retained to provide a wonderfully relaxing holiday for you and your party.
Secluded and quiet but conveniently close to beautiful beaches, bustling market towns and villages Tyddyn Truan is an idyllic position for your holiday on Anglesey.
Tyddyn Truan is steeped in history and the sensitive restoration will give you the warm and comfortable accommodation you would expect whilst maintaining its unique features.
The cottage is beamed throughout. There is a huge timber across the inglenook fireplace in the sitting room that may easily have served purpose in a sailing ship before coming to rest in the cottage! We have provided a wood burning stove for our guests to give you the unique atmosphere of a real fire. Ideal to curl up after a day exploring this lovely island. You will of course find a digital television and DVD player for your use with plenty of good lighting if you would prefer to read.
Leading off the sitting room the downstairs bedroom has a kingsize bed. The décor is pretty and there are lovely views through both the windows.
Two wonderfully original steps lead from the sitting room to the kitchen. The kitchen will provide you with all you could need including microwave and fridge/freezer. Another inglenook in the kitchen provides a cosy dining area for six. The kitchen leads to a utility room with dishwasher and washing machine. There is a downstairs toilet and shower. The backdoor leads to your own totally private garden.
The stairs lead to the master bedroom which has huge beams across the roof space and a large adjoining bathroom. There is a good library of books and selection of DVD’s for our guests. Leading from the bedroom is a twin room with a television for DVD use. A cot and high chair are available on request. Pretty cottage windows look out to the surrounding countryside.
