introduction
A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at Fferam y Llyn, with owners Llyr and Laura Hughes ensuring your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
'Fferam y Llyn' (meaning 'Lake Farm') is a 400 acre working beef, sheep and arable family farm offering spectacular panoramic views of the nearby lake (Llyn Alaw), Snowdonia national park and the surrounding countryside. Located in a quiet rural location, we combine the comfort of modern, high quality accommodation with the traditional and welcoming atmosphere you would expect at a farmhouse bed and breakfast. We are quite simply the perfect place to unwind, relax and explore the island’s 125 miles of coastline.
Located at the heart of Anglesey we are an excellent base to make the most of your stay on this wonderful island. Anglesey has many unspoilt sandy beaches and a variety of outdoor activities to offer. With the many well kept foot paths, bridle paths, and cycle routes – walkers, horse riders and cyclists alike will be in their element. And without forgetting fishermen who have the numerous beaches, piers, the sea, lakes and reservoirs to choose from.
Accommodation
We offer two ground floor rooms, one twin room and one double en-suite room with wonderful views. These two rooms work very well for families. All rooms have been recently furnished and decorated to a high standard.
In the morning, a traditional Welsh breakfast awaits you, using as much local produce as possible. Special diet requirements can also be catered for. At the end of a day exploring or a long journey here, you can relax in the comfortable private guest lounge with a log burning stove, freeview television, DVD player and music system, or you can sit in the garden and admire the wonderful views. We are unlicensed but guests may bring their own wine – we are happy to supply the glasses and corkscrew.
